Policies & Procedures

  • You must be OVER 18 to attend GDPU2 Pole classes.

  • This class is not suitable for those who are pregnant or trying to conceive. If you have been pregnant in the past 6 months, you will need to be signed off by your medical provider.

  • Please make sure you check the time/date/location of your booking after purchase. Please give yourself plenty of time to find the studio.

  • DO NOT BE LATE - Unfortunately, students who arrive late for the warm-up cannot join in class for safety reasons.

  • Whilst every effort is taken to ensure student safety during the lessons, pole dancing is a sport like any other and there is always a possibility of getting hurt. You may occur bruising due to the nature of the fitness - however, you should never work through pain.

Payments & Memberships

  • Memberships MUST be used within the time frame stated - No extensions can be given. Missed sessions are forfeited.

  • Please give 7 days notice for cancellations for RECURRING  MEMBERSHIPS otherwise you may still be charged.

  • Please be aware that if you cancel your rolling DD for your regular course, returning students will be subject to any price increases.

  • Spaces are given on a first come first serve basis. To secure your space, please make payment in full online via the booking system “Team Up”.

  • We DO NOT offer "drop-in" or "walk-in" classes. Please do not attend without making a booking.

Refunds & Transfers

  • ALL Payments to GDPU2 Pole are non-refundable. Courses are non-transferable and extensions are unavailable for ANY reason. This includes COVID related issues. ALL CLASSES ARE BOOKED AT THE STUDENTS RISK.

  • Catch up classes are unavailable, unless prearranged with your instructor and there is space available on a suitable course within the time frame (this is not guaranteed).

Lateness

  • DO NOT BE LATE. There is NO ADMITTANCE once the published class start time has passed. No refunds will be issued for missed classes due to lateness for any reason.

Illness & Injury

  • If you start to feel unwell, or If you have any symptoms of covid, cold, flu or sickness bug, please DO NOT attend class - Refund policy still applies.

  • Should you experience any pain, discomfort, or injury, during the session, please inform your Instructor immediately who will ensure appropriate action is taken and it is reported in the accident book.

  • Prior to, or during, the course, health concerns may arise that may require further input from your doctor, physiotherapist, or other allied health care professional. If such concerns should arise, you should consult an appropriate health professional before continuing Pole Fitness.

  • Any injuries or incidents occurred through student mishap during the classes are in no way the fault or the responsibility of the Instructor.

  • You will not be permitted to take part if the instructor believes you to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs. No refund will be given.

Arriving/Leaving Class

  • Please DO NOT turn up to class more than 5 minutes before class.

  • Students can collect a clean cloth to clean their poles (each student must use their own cloth).

  • Please put dirty cloths in the wash bag at the end of class.

  • Cleaning products will be provided to keep the pole free of grease. Check the pole before your turn to avoid slipping.

  • Only cleaner specified by your instructor must be used to clean the poles. Other cleaning products may damage the poles.

  • Please clean poles before and after each use between each student.

  • Please put back mats, equipment and cleaning products at the end of your class. Please clean your pole down when you finish class.

  • Please make a swift exit after class, and do not congregate in the building.

  • Please be aware that CCTV is in operation, covering the main part of studio. There is no CCTV in the changing rooms or toilets.

COVID-19

  • DO NOT come to class if you have symptoms of covid-19, or you have had a positive test.

  • You must complete your isolation period before returning to class, in line with government guidelines. 

  • Please do not congregate before or after class. Leave swiftly after class. Please do not turn up more than 5 minutes before the start of your class. 

  • Please only bring essentials into class.​
